LEAP TOWARDS YOUR TRUTH
An 8-week transformation program to find your truth, break free from social constraints and leap into a life of freedom.
More than what everyone else is doing.
More than the endless studying or working 9-5.
More than study hard, get a good job, marry, retire etc.
You probably dream about that life of something more from time to time… but it remains a dream. You just can’t seem to take action for some reason, can you?
You want to contemplate your greater purpose in life but you are too tired after coming home from work to even think about it. Too busy from the demands of everyday life to take a pause. You find yourself stuck in auto-pilot mode as days, months and years go by.
You want to quit the things that you dread but the fear of the unknown holds you back. What will happen if you take a gap year? What will happen if you quit that job? What will everyone say? They may think you are out of your mind or judge you for being lazy. These criticisms get hold of you and you give up any thought of trying something different.
It is POSSIBLE to break free from all the obligations in your life right now that you do not give a damn about.
It is POSSIBLE to go after whatever your heart desires regardless of what anyone says.
Imagine a life where the word “impractical” does not exist and money is not a problem. (No, this is not another pitch about financial freedom…!) You can seriously live the life of your dreams without needing to be rich.
An 8-week transformation program to find your truth, break free from social constraints and leap into a life of freedom.
I am a 26 year old girl from Singapore. I am a nomad and a freedom coach.
Years ago, I was like you. I felt trapped in an unfulfilling way of life and I was desperate to get out of it. Unlike most people who realise this at some point in their career, I realised it earlier when I was a student.
2021. I was at the convocation ceremony. Students donned in their graduation gowns buzzed with excitement in the hall. Their friends and family surrounded them, brimming with pride behind their masks.
I thought to myself: Is this it? The promised end that I was told since young? Did I work hard for so many years just to get to this point?
Meanwhile, a group of friends approached a graduating student with a bouquet of fake cash notes. They giggled over the surprise that they planned for their friend. It brought me a flashback of my aunt who told me in my final year of studies, “Xin Lei, aren’t you excited to be graduating? You can finally get a job and earn money to support your family!”
Any anticipation for the future turned into an ominous feeling for me. A suspicion lingered in me: Is it truly the end of the rat race?
Or am I just about to enter another rat race?
No, no. This was meant to be a moment of celebration. I should be proud of myself for what I achieved. After all, I finally completed 16 years of education in a rigorous education system and graduated from the top university in Asia.
BUT… was it really worth it?
In Singapore, our first high-stake examination starts at age 12. Every parent, teacher and classmate was uptight about it. When I asked my parents why I had to study so hard, their answer was,
“So that you can go to university and get a good job.”
I had a rebellious phase and voiced my objections to studying. Before I knew it, my relatives came to me saying,
“Xin Lei, you have to study hard for the examination. Otherwise, you will have a tough future!”
I spent my schooling years waiting for one examination to be cleared after another. There was constant fear of not performing. Any spare time, energy and attention were expected to be dedicated to studying. Everyday, I dragged myself to school like a zombie due to sleep-deprivation from trying to complete the endless assignments and test preparations. All while asking, “What is the point of this?”.
People often told my parents how lucky they were to have a child like me, as if my future was surely going to head towards a bright direction. Little did they know that I was struggling with chronic depression which made my life a living hell. Days, months and years passed. Subsequently, I got into a “good” junior college and the top university in Asia by QS rankings.
I thought that life in university would change if I studied something I liked but some things remained the same. The common things that I heard were such as “GPA”, “-class honours”, “resume”, “internship”, “thesis” and “job”. I wished that there were more interesting things students could talk about. When the COVID pandemic happened in my final year of university, it revealed how meaningless these were. I remember feeling so disillusioned with everything that I googled online: I am tired of my life.
I did not feel very hopeful that things would change after graduation. After all, it is the same mentality conditioned by society that people are living by. Nonetheless, the one thing I knew for sure was that LIFE MUST BE SOMETHING MORE. But I did not know what that looked like and how to get there. Until that point, I had only spent my life in school and hardly knew how things worked in the outside world.
The fact is that our social reality forms a big part of reality. If everyone around you is going in a certain direction, it can be hard to go against it. When there are not many exceptions from the norm, your idea of what is possible will be limited. If you choose to do something different, you have to deal with questions or judgments that are uncomfortable.
Even if you want to deviate from the norms, do you know where to go? This is the reason why most people end up following other people. We have been urged from young to keep on running in the rat race. There is barely any chance to pause and seek answers to the big questions such as: Who am I? What is my purpose? What kind of life do I truly want?
If nobody would give me permission to be free, I will. If I wanted to be free, I had to do something different from what everyone is doing or even what I had been doing all along.
Therefore, I made the commitment to take a gap year while many of my peers went looking for a job. Initially, it was difficult to fight the compulsion to go back into work. When I met up with friends or relatives, I had to face questions like,
“What are you doing now?”
“Are you looking for a job?”
It dawned upon me that it was so much easier to just follow everybody else. But I already knew that it was a trap I did not want to fall into. So I gave myself permission to just do 2 things: Be alive and follow my heart to do what I wanted, from reading books, diving into philosophical inquiry to writing articles. It was during this time that I gained the most profound insights about myself and inspiration for what I want to do.
The pathway to freedom was well worth it.
After awhile, I started to notice a transformation. I did things because I wanted to and not because I was obligated to. I could live and breathe at my own pace. If anyone were to question me about my choices, I was able to stand firm. I reached a state of INNER freedom where nothing on the outside can constrain me anymore. This inner freedom set the precedent for outer freedom.
In the following year, I got the chance to learn from several role models. I worked at a startup with like-minded youths from my university and spent my earnings on programs to learn from mentors across the globe who are living my dream life. It was during this time that I learned what it takes to bring vision to reality and the obstacles that hold most people back from a life they truly want.
When the international borders finally reopened after 2 years, I quit my job and took the leap to go to New Zealand for a working holiday. I ticked off many items on my bucket list, from solo-travelling, working on farms, living in a caravan to stargazing in one of the best places on Earth.
There, I met my partner Chiharu from Japan who shares the same excitement in life. We are planning to travel around the world in the next few years. I have never felt so happy to be alive.
I have always wondered what a life of true freedom looked like. Little did I know that I would be living the question now.
Prior to living the life of my dreams, I have always heard the following:
“This is reality.”
“We have no choice.”
“We cannot afford to do what we want.”
But when I made the radical choice to live life as I pleased, I figured out that these are not true at all!
Looking back, the pain and frustration that I felt were almost inevitable. Of course, the people around you would be saying the things that they are saying. Unless they have experienced anything different, what else could they be telling you!
And of course, society would have an interest in maintaining the status quo. How else can it continue functioning in the way that it has been?
All this while, they have been telling you that this is a problem of reality, as if it has a separate existence. But what is reality? External reality is created by your inner reality. The true obstacle to your freedom is therefore not them but YOU.
Once I saw that I hold the key to my own freedom, I committed to taking action to free myself from the shackles that were keeping me stuck in an uninspiring life. That was how I eventually leaped over to the other side of reality that I have always been curious about!
And it is not just me who did it. I met many people during my travels who embarked on a similar path to follow their hearts instead of the crowd. You truly do not know what is possible until you take action in your own life and step into a new reality.
An 8-week transformation program to find your truth, break free from social constraints and leap into a life of freedom.
Rather than figuring out the unknown by yourself which would take a long time, what if you could have a route map to help you? Life is short and you never know when it could be your last day.
You also do not have to go through this journey alone. It would be much easier with the guidance of a mentor who was once in your position and has overcome the challenges that you are facing.
I developed an approach based on my own journey, one that bridges thought with action.
Bringing your external reality to a closer match with your internal reality.
Recondition yourself at the subconscious level to embody more empowering beliefs and behaviours.
Challenge existing thought, so that you can free up a world of new possibilities.
Find out who you are, so that you can stand firm against the currents of society.
Face your fears, so that you can grow and move towards where you want to be.
Here is what you can expect in the 8-week long journey.
Understanding what the box is and setting your intentions to get out of it.
Finding out your unique identity to narrow down potential pathways.
Diving into deeper self-inquiry and claiming ownership of your truth.
Connecting with the like-minded to change your social reality.
Uncovering what you truly want to do and diverting your resources to those.
Identifying your calling to step into more purposeful contribution.
Overcoming societally conditioned beliefs and behaviours that are not serving you.
Managing your energy to break free and live the life that you truly want.
Examining the pitfalls of money and design of alternative lifestyles.
I was stuck in the box, unclear of what my possible limitations could be. Now that I have a clearer picture of what they are, I feel more empowered to take charge of my life.

Whether you are a student, fresh graduate or working adult, you can take a leap towards your truth. The program starts on the week after the week you enroll. As I only work with a limited number of people per month, apply as soon as possible and I will be in touch with you shortly.
You will get much more out of joining the program. Firstly, it is hard to do this alone. By working alongside a coach who understands your specific situation and challenges, you can receive close and personalised guidance as you navigate your personal journey. Secondly, you will build up momentum for a leap as you move through the workbook modules at a fixed pace across 8 weeks. Your coach will be able to hold you accountable for that.
I recommend spending at least an hour going through the content and exercises of each module at the start of each week. Throughout the rest of the week, engage in contemplation and try out the challenges. If you have any questions or challenges, you can reach out to me via text. During the coaching sessions that will take place every 2 weeks, we will take the modules in the previous 2 weeks as a basis for discussion.
Coaching is like mentorship. Besides giving advice from a position of greater experience, I will facilitate you to find your own answers. It is my duty as a coach to provide a safe space for you to explore your inner landscape and to hold you accountable in your progress. I see coaching as a two-way relationship where both parties gain something from each other.
In each 1 hour session (online/in-person per availability), we will discuss the past 2 modules you went through in the workbook and anything relevant that came up in your life recently.
The coaching sessions will take place every 2 weeks from the start of the program. During the onboarding process in the first week, you will be asked to choose the date and timing for the coaching sessions. If there are changes to your schedule later on, you may rearrange with me.
It is my belief that anyone should have access to this knowledge regardless of their financial means. The underrepresented group that I wish to help the most are students. As I understand that it can be hard to fork out such a sum for students, I am offering a discount for students. (If you are not a student but in a financially tight situation, reach out to me to discuss other payment options!) The price is pegged at about quarter of what one can earn on average in a month as a fresh graduate/less than half of what one would pay for a special term module in university. Consider if this would be worth it if it could set you on a drastically different pathway for a lifetime.
